I am currently drooling all over this camera and you are more than welcome to purchase it for me. (I’ve found it on eBay for about $35!)

You will all be so proud of me! In the last week I have managed to at least get a basic design presentable for the following pages:

Knitting and
Mill City*!

None of them are quite done—I still need to add a few things and change a few words—but they are there! And you can look at them. I will let you do that.

I figured out how to get comments working for this blog, so you can leave your thoughts with me (I do so love to know what you’re thinking) or read the thoughts of others.

It seems that it took me 5 months to recover from school and classes. I’m designing again! I’m reading books for pleasure! I recently completed The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and it was a very good read. Now I am working on Running with Scissors.

And the weather in Minneapolis is so nice for laying in the grass on a sunny hill! It’s only about 10 a.m. at the moment, so hopefully in a couple hours I will take myself to the park across the street and have a leisurely picnic with the book. And I shall continue to develop the website!

I worked on the site a little bit yesterday. I’m thinking maybe today I’ll work on it more. I’m not sure what to do next… I would like to figure out how to get the comment function to work with my site but, meh.

My sister got married mid-April and that was all fun and good. While she and my new brother-in-law were in Italy, I got to play in their Uptown apartment with their three kitties and her car. It was indeed the good life as they also have cable TV! But mostly I watched TBS and mostly I’m okay with that.

I find myself wondering when my next vacation will be. I have no excuse and no method of leaving town. Where would I go anyway? I would like to go to Chicago. But no trip is ever long enough. I need to take up travel agent-cy perhaps. I need to get a job that will let me fly in and out of crazy nuts places. Where do I get a job like that and am I too young to acquire such a job?

It’s almost summer in Minneapolis, though. Lazing on the Calhoun Lake beach will be lovely.
