Three things I would rescue if my house were on fire (assuming, of course, that my cats also got out safely):

1. MacBook Pro

   Before I got my car a few months ago, this MacBook Pro was the most expensive thing I’ve ever purchased. It’s sort of a symbol of dedicating myself to a craft I love (design) and growing up a bit. Though I probably wouldn’t be devastated if I lost it, I would be very, very sad.

2. Canon Rebel XSi DSLR

   Yeah, it’d be nice to have a better model, but I love my camera. I’m fortunate that I was even able to purchase this one.

3. Pearl Necklace

   That was the best Valentine’s Day weekend ever. Even though I told him for months and months beforehand about how much I wanted a pearl necklace, I never, in a million years, would’ve expected him to give me one. Though maybe he got me one so I would stop talking about it? Ha!
