Minneapolis was dancing last night, my friends.

I went to see Plastic Chord at the 7th Street Entry around 10:30pm — a very late show, indeed. I hope I have time to catch up on sleeping this weekend…

I caught the end of Lonely Assassins Club, but Rebecca and Orion brought me down to the VIP room to hang out for a while. (Confession: I was |-this-| close to skipping the show and staying home to be lame and sleep, but when Rebecca called me at 7pm to tell me that I would be on their guestlist, the groupie in me jumped for joy! And getting a tour to the VIP room, too? I felt really cool. It’s cool having friends in a good, local band.)

So! But we all came upstairs for Parts For All Makes and we danced. They sounded really good — reminded me of Frente! and Belly. Good stuff.

Plastic Chord played around midnight. It was an awesome venue for them and they had maniacal fans in the audience. Towards the end I put down my camera and joined the maniacs in dancing like we just didn’t care!
