If I wasn’t so sick and achy I would be more excited about this, but:

I just mailed (via express mail so it’ll arrive at its destination tomorrow) my application along with all of my recommendations, transcripts, and foreign language proficiency reports to the Institute of International Education.

What this means is that I am one gigantic leap closer to obtaining a Fulbright Scholarship to go to Germany next year. I cannot tell you how much I want this opportunity. Words cannot describe the agony of waiting I will now be experiencing until I hear about the interview portion of the decision process.

The agony will be even more intense after the interview until the final decision in April or May.

I said a little prayer!
