Progress Report: 101 goals in 1001 days

I think I was supposed to summarize March about 29 days ago. Oops.

Finished:

  1. See a performance at the Guthrie completed 03/01/2014)
  2. Visit the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum completed 03/02/2014

In progress:

  1. Bake 20 new-to-me recipes
    1. Irish Cream Cake – 03/15/2014
  2. Be free of credit card debt.
  3. Put $20 into savings for each completed task on this list, and $50 for each non-completed task
($500 due for 25 completed items, $50 due for 1 item that will not be completed)

View the whole list. Can you help me complete any of these goals? Let me know because time is really running out…

March and April have really been two terrible months, riddled with anxiety and sadness. Gramma PI passed away, I dealt with fear of speaking in front of a huge group of strangers at a conference, and trying to figure out where and when Jason and I will get married, while trying to keep our budget in a manageable state, has brought a lot of anger at the whole wedding industry. There is a very simple reason that people elope and if celebrating with our friends and families weren’t so important, then I’m sure that’s what we’d be planning.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, though: we are |-thisclose-| to confirming a where and when. I don’t think we’re going to go broke over this thing. And we can still celebrate with the people we adore.

Also, I just had a completely free weekend. Napping with the cats always cures what ails me.
